Tatty Bear

Today we looked at ' Tatty Bear ' as an inspiration for making are own figurine. I went onto google and typed in tatty bear, and chose to draw a picture of tatty bear holding a heart into my skecthbook. I chose the picture because i thought the fact of the figurine holding a object, , makes the figurine look more interesting. Im going to use loads of fluff for my figurine.

Characteristics Of The Class .21/11/08

Today everyone in the class had to write characteristics of eachother,and draw what they would look like from what they had written down about, each persons character. Then we wrote down what we thought are own characteristics would be. I really enjoyed todays lesson because it helped the class to socialize more with eachother, and it was just straight forward and easy task.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

I have just watched behind the scenes to the film ' The Nightmare Before Christmas ' and i took down notes on who was the target audience which was said that it would probably be 12 year olds + . The reason why i thought that it would be for 12+is because, the concept of the characters are shown to be a sign of death, so that would scare young children.

Also the storyboard would be a bit too complex for children because of the style , which is dark / gloomy and it would not appeal to them , because they would want to see bright & vibrant colours and this film is very dark.

I have just watched behind the scenes of ' The Nightmare Before Christmas ' and the information that i have seen from the film was that..

It took 10 years to make the film ,and in the film their was 60 characters that were made. Also when making the film 20 stages were going at once when filming.

Their was over 100 people working in the team. The main character Jack had up to 400 different sculptured heads.
